For many marine applications, hydraulics is the natural choice. With its ability to provide high power outputs and precise control, and where space is always a concern, from a relatively small overall size. This coupled to the range of different functions that can be driven and the many sources on board that can provide the input power, make it a solution that is hard to better.
Just some of the applications where we have used hydraulics are on propulsion, hydraulic boat steering, thrusters, trim tabs, door and hatch opening mechanisms, davits, passerelles, deck cranes, winches and haulers.
